Deanna Ansaldo was raised in Drexel Hill, PA and currently resides in Douglassville, PA. Rich with diversity and an academic culture geared towards the arts, her early education encouraged her to refine her talent for creating. She entered the visual art world with a strong foundation in drawing and illustration. Her personal art style can be described as an elegant blend of Art Nouveau and Impressionism, bordering Surrealism. Ansaldo graduated from the Robert E. Cooks Honors College at Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree double majoring in Studio Art and Psychology. Though employed outside her field of study, creation remains a priority. Her spare time is spent on working as a professional artist creating personalized commissioned pieces, such as Music Album covers, Logo designs and custom concept art. Her Strengths are creating movement within 2D visuals to inspire a contemplative frame of mind. Her personal series "Reflections on Reality" was inspired by the Rennaissance period of paintings that illustrated valuable life lessons. Deanna is driven to notate the importance of creativity within humanity, while bringing a deeper mode of thinking into the visual art field. She is a versatile creator that has experience using Acrylic, ink, and pencil, secondary experience with ceramic and metalsmithing. She works primarily with 2-Dimensional mediums, and as of the year 2021, is focused on building her Digital Design portfolio, emphasizing her skillsets using Adobe Creative Software like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects, as well as her self-taught experience using Affinity Designer, Autodesk Sketchbook and most notably since 2022- Procreate and Procreate Dreams. She is in pursuit of a Motion Design Certification and increasing her experience with Animation.
